The New Vermont Recovery Coach Training
is Coming Soon!
We have spent several months developing a NEW curriculum for training peer recovery coaches. This 5-day training program now includes much more time for participants to practice coaching using "life coaching" tools and techniques.
Through a collaborative effort with the Vermont Psychiatric Survivors, the entire program has been designed to be appropriate for both addiction and mental health peers. The expanded components include medication assisted recovery, ethical decision-making process, cultural competency, and the impact of trauma on recovery.

Also, graduates will now leave the training with hands-on experience opening and closing a coaching meeting, coaching through resistance and celebrating successes in the coaching relationship.
